My Special ELEGOO GOOD MOMENT was 2 years ago when I upgraded my Little ENDER printer for an ELEGOO NEPTUNE 3 MAX as I had a dream of printing a full scale wearable MK50 Armour....14 kg or so of ELEGOO PLA+ later and 6 months on and off I achieved that dream...sadly I never finished him...but he's packed away for another day 🔥🔥🔥 Thank you Elegoo 👌🏻👌🏻

My #Elegoodmoment was becoming an admin across the official Saturn, Mars and Jupiter FB groups this year. 3D printing has been a huge lifeline for me as someone with a chronic illness. It gives me a huge sense of achievement and I want to support others. Well done on the #ELEGOO10thAnniversary

Since I was a child, I have always wanted life-sized statues but priced around 5k to 10k. It has always been out of reach. Since I got my first printer Neptune 3 plus 9 months ago I haven't turned it off. ❤️

With a Mars 3 we printed Solar System models to bring to blind communities in Mexico during the April 8th, 2024 total solar eclipse. They were able to understand the scale of the bodies of the solar system, the features of the moon, the distances between the planets and the Sun, to get a better understanding of the astrophysical phenomenon as it was actually happening. Over 50 blind people were in attendance, this was an interinstitucional effort and event.

My story is a little different. I was loaned an original Mars printer by my boss to try my hand out with resin printing miniatures. Gave me 3 bottles of resin and had me try it out. He had bought the printer to try to print custom rack mounts for network equipment, but failed miserably. Brought the unit home and picked up some generic stuff for post processing and became hooked. From there started printing out proxies and painting them. To be honest, I find the painting of the minis relaxing. With my high stress job, the printing and painting of the models has helped chill me out. I decided I wanted to be able terrain to make dioramas of my custom painted items, but knew with the small build plate of the Mars, it would take forever to make a grand scale terrain. I would need a FDM printer to help accomplish that. I had been seeing users talk about the Centauri Carbon on YouTube and how it stacked up to some other machines. From their videos, I could tell print quality was superb. All the footage I had seen was pre-release, so it peaked my interest at the cost. I had looked and tested bed slingers and compared them to Core XY ones and found the subtle details in the Core XY were better for my needs. All the talk was that the Centauri Carbon was gonna be SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive to some others, so I figured I'd bite the bullet on one. On the release date, I happened to be working from home that day and had Uncle Jessy's live stream on as back ground noise. Then they announced the price.... It was at that point all my work went into standby mode as I prepped to pick one up. They went online at 0800. CST and by 0803 CST I had mine bought and paid for along with the accessory kit (which I haven't received yet.. hoping to get a .2 nozzle with it.. just saying). Got my Carbon a week and a day later due to some shipping delays and it's been a workhorse so far. It's printed everything from paint holders to pallets, minis to desk accessories. EDC things to a Stitch bookmark for my kid. Even started to print off a Punisher Iron Man helmet for the office to display. So far, I've been through 6 rolls of various filaments with it, and my wife thinks I spend more time with it than her. This has become a new passion of mine. When I run across an issue at the house, my first thought is can I print something to fix it or improve it. I really don't care if I win this contest, I just wanted to send you guys a thanks for sparking my creative side again. I also wanted to send @u/UncleJessy a big shoutout for the video on the accessories for the Carbon, the are lifesavers. So again, Elegoo, thank you.

First 2000 pt game of warhammer ! I printed off a bunch of imperial knights and gave them just a quick primer coat and off we were ! Tons of fun and I’ve got 3 printed armies now all thanks to my Mars 3! Tons of fun and tons of options when you can print your own figurines, I recommend elegoo whenever a situation calls for it , I’ve never had to change the factory options on my unit either , just been cranking out prints from day 1!

In 2017 I moved to a new city with my wife for her job. She worked 60 plus hour weeks and I didn't know anyone. Even working, I spent a lot of time at home and it got really lonely. I had watched some videos of the Crafsman using a Mars and printing minis and was really interested. For Christmas that year, my wife surprised with an Elegoo Mars and I was completely hooked. I joined some patreons and was printing non stop miniatures. It really gave me something to be excited about. 8 years later and I'm up to 3 resin machines and 2 Fdm. I'm excited to hopefully grab a CC later this year. Thanks for all of the fun, Elegoo.

My ELEGOO FDM printer sparked a fun moment when I helped my niece print her first 3D-printed rocket, igniting her curiosity about how things work. Watching her eyes light up as she held her creation was when ELEGOO made my life good, turning a rainy afternoon into an engineering adventure. Now she’s got her own ELEGOO Neptune 4 and has become a 3D design expert!

Introducing, The Mandalorian! Finished printing out all the parts for Mando’s armor on my Elegoo Neptune 4 Max, which has printed these parts nicely! Next step, filling and sanding! For those curious, I was originally planning on doing a set of animated clone armor (specifically ARC Echo); however, I watched the Mandalorian through again and realized as I was watching that I wanted to create that instead. So here we are haha! I have almost everything I need, need to fill and sand, and then am painting with the actually paint they used on the show!

I started 3D printing around 8 years ago, originally to organize my gaming room by designing small cable holders, lighting setups, and a custom camera mount. What began as a personal passion soon found a place in my community when I started volunteering at a youth café where young people would come to relax. My 3D printing skills came in handy there, too — I made lots of keychains with the café’s logo and even created a large illuminated version of their logo as a centerpiece. Eventually, I decided to turn my hobby into a side hustle and dove deeper into the world of 3D printing, including resin printing. My store is still in its early stages, but I’m loving the creative process — bringing new ideas to life and designing every product myself. #elegoo10thanniversary #myelegoodmoment

#MyElegooGoodMoment #Elegoo10thAnniversary 3D printing has become more than just a hobby—it's a passion, a creative outlet, and even a gateway to new possibilities! From printing articulated dragons that stretch nearly five feet long to crafting intricate Star Wars props, I've pushed the limits of what’s possible with my Elegoo printer. I've assembled eight Star Wars blasters, a Beskar spear, and Westar pistols. Designed a Mandalorian suit for Halloween. Created everything from paper towel holders and silverware trays to custom birthday and teacher gifts. Right now, my workbench is filled with Predator helmets, and I’m always looking for the next exciting project. One of my proudest creations? A motion-activated electronic eyeball, inspired by Hocus Pocus, that opens and moves when someone walks by—powered by an Arduino chip and a bit of magic! My kids love the endless articulated toys, and I’ve even 3D printed wearable sandals! What started as a fun experiment has grown into a full-fledged passion. I’ve even begun learning 3D modeling to push my creativity further—who knows, this could be the start of a whole new career! With another printer, I’d love to get my wife involved and share the excitement of bringing ideas to life. Elegoo has been a huge part of this journey, providing incredible support with step-by-step guides and replacement parts whenever needed. I’m grateful for the inspiration, the innovation, and the endless opportunities to create!

My journey started with elegoo specifically when I purchased my neptune 4 max, had been printing prior to that for around 7-8yrs on various other printers. The main thing that drew me to the choice of Printer wasn't the specs of the machine, but the community was far more inclusive and way more welcome. I've made some very close friends from being a part of the elegoo groups which means more to me than a level bed and good adhesion lol. Here's to another 10yrs of printing with ELEGOO and making a few more friends on the way. I've included my very first print from my 4max way back when, had to be the iconic budda anything else wouldn't have been a poor substitute lol.

A Beast of a Print – My ELEGOO Moment! 🦾🔥 #MyElegoodMoment #ELEGOO10thAnniversary I've always been fascinated by large-scale 3D printing, and when I got my ELEGOO Neptune 4 Max, I knew I had to push it to the limit. Enter: the ENORMOUS mechanical claw—a print that tested everything from bed leveling to patience! With a huge 420x420x480mm build volume, I went all in, slicing the model for maximum detail and stability. Watching the Neptune 4 Max glide effortlessly, layer by layer, was mesmerizing. The precision, the speed, and that rock-solid direct drive system—flawless execution! There’s something deeply satisfying about peeling off that final support and holding a massive, functional piece straight off the print bed. This was my ELEGOO moment—the moment I realized just how powerful this machine is and how limitless the possibilities are. ELEGOO has been a game-changer in my 3D printing journey, making big ideas a reality. Here's to 10 years of innovation and creativity!

So a lead in fun fact with the story is that I work in shipping fulfillment for another Kickstarter company I was in a 80 mph crash in early September (turns out car and wildlife do not go together) and ended up having to fly home from the opposite side of the country for 2 months while my vehicle was repaired out there. After the long wait, I go to the airport to take one of three planes to get out to the middle of nowhere where the car was to be picked up and the flight gets canceled after completely wrecking my sleep schedule and have to reschedule for 2 days later I am literally on a Friday morning at around 9:00 a.m. getting onto the plane like literally sitting in the seat just before takeoff. My phone rings and it's some company in Toronto I've never heard of and they're telling me that they have this 500 lb piece of equipment for me to receive today. I tell them I won't be home And thankfully they can push the delivery until Monday. I drove 2,950 km in just over 60 hours so that I could get home and intercept my storm for its delivery The following 2 weeks of gutting walls and rebuilding my lab to get the machine off and running enclosed and monitored sufficiently was an incredible project that was only mired by consistent questioning from my family and friends of what in the name of God I was going to do with this giant machine. Fast forward 2 months later and my grandfather lost part of his leg due to a medical emergency and one of the things he needed was a support structure for his leg under his wheelchair. The only supplier that made these things wanted nearly $600 for it. $26 of pla and 31 hours on the storm later, there's now an open source design for an amp board. As someone who prints 90 plus percent their own designs, there are not words to describe how useful it is to know I don't necessarily have to design around the size of a machine.

My son is a huge fan of Iron Man, and had been begging me to buy him Iron Man toys. So when I got my Neptune 4, the first thing I thought of was to print him some! I've printed this "action figure" and a mask for his birthday, and the pleasantly surprised look on his face when he saw what I've printed for him was absolutely priceless. That alone made Neptune totally worth it for me! I'm still not able to get really clean or detailed prints yet, but tinkering with the various settings and tuning to improve the quality of the prints is a journey in itself. Sometimes frustrating, but at the same time satisfying when I finally get something right.

Elegoo gave my family one of the most memorable Halloweens ever! Over the course of about 4 months I printed about 40 pieces to make Bioshock helmets and accessories with my Neptune 4 Max and my Saturn 3 Ultra. I used elegoo petg and Elegoo arduino boards to power the lights for the costumes. I glued and sanded and with the help of my wife, got stuff painted and looking great. A moment that really stands out to me is when I was doing my first major print after I had done my calibrations. Watching fully formed prints being pulled out from a vat of liquid was like watching magic happen, it was truly an incredible thing to watch. While I didn't manage to get a photo of everything I printed, this Jeff the shark print was one of my favourite. Another moment that really stood out for me was when I was able to print a custom character for a D&D campaign which really added a whole new level of immersion to it. DickOwl has become an all time favourite and irreplaceable companion on our adventures. (Spoilered because crude and unfortunately I don't have a photo of the finished print)

I knew from the moment I saw my first resin printer video on YouTube that I absolutely HAD to have one! I started off with a Saturn 3 Ultra and within a year, I ended up upgrading to a Saturn 4 Ultra (12k). 3d printing has been great! I got a membership to Loot Studios and I have been printing ever since. After a while, I worked up the courage to try painting my miniatures. While I have a long way to go, I am happy with the results so far. My wife calls it my nerd hobby but at least I am having a good time with it. Thanks Elegoo for giving me an affordable way to pass the time. Here are a couple of pics, there is a lot more unpainted.

I have always been interested in 3D printing, since the very first years, and was waiting for my time to buy one finally. Im still a student, just applied to university, so I promised myself that if I can get enough money the last year from working I will buy myself a 3D printer. In autumn I started searching for the best printers recommended for beginners, and the Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro just popped up on my screen. Everyone I talked to had a really good opinion about it, so I started looking at them more. After a few weeks I found a used one (only a few months old, sadly didnt have that much to buy a brand new) not to far away from me. The seller guy didnt really know how to work with Klipper And that was my best decision ever made in my life. I love this printer, even my first out of the box print was superb, and since than, I have learnt how to calibrate the printer to achieve even greater results. My very first print was ofc a Benchy, and the little Buddha file it had on the usb. I gave it to my father to thank him all the support. Im currently printing easter themed decors to sell, but also do some things I designed myself. It makes me happy to learn something new every week from this hobby. Love this printer, and I will be forever thankful for this🫶🏻

I bought a 2K LCD resin printer in 2019 and struggled through mostly unsuccessful prints. At the time, I was heavily into Dungeons & Dragons, and my initial goal was to print miniatures for our gaming sessions. However, the poor quality and limited quantity of usable prints made it hard to create the immersive experiences I had wanted. Day after day, I'd fawn over the thousands of amazing miniature models created by talented artists online, dreaming of building a business around selling these incredible creations. But every failed print chipped away at my confidence, and I doubted my ability to ever turn this passion into a business. As the child of a first-generation entrepreneur, I had grown up inspired by my father's determination, hard work, and ability to build something from nothing. He taught me that dreams could become reality with perseverance and the right tools. Yet, despite my enthusiasm, I struggled immensely with the technology I had at my disposal. It felt like my aspirations were always just beyond my reach. Everything changed when I upgraded to the ELEGOO Saturn 4 Ultra. The machine self-calibrated, self-leveled, and just... printed. Successfully at that. All the frustrations I had felt off and on for years melted in an instant. Thanks to the ELEGOO Saturn 4 Ultra, I had the reliability and the confidence to turn my prints into a product and start my own 3D Printing Company. It's not the same business my father devoted his life to, but he's proud of me all the same. That’s when ELEGOO truly made my life good.

After getting a 3d printer for Christmas, I can now make, paint and print my own models myself, which is great fun and much cheaper. So happy that I stumbled across 3d printers as they have helped me start my own collection of figures which I proudly display in my room.

Years ago, I bought the Saturn 2 8k when it came out. I had a See Me CNC Rostock Max v3.2 that I learned a lttle about 3d printing using it. The Sature was a resin printer and a eye opening experience. I purchased my Neptune 4 Max to help with large projects. Recently, I bought the Centauri Carbon and waiting for it to ship. With all the problems that have encountered with my Elegoo printers, Elegoo was quick to respond and send parts. Also they provided me many years of education on how to do things that were needed such as: problems with getting my firmware to install correctly, replace parts that were missing in the shipment, and so on. Evelyn at Elegoo was great about staying in touch with me, or sending me over to tech support. They are great for newbies but seasoned professionals with problems. I am looking for to my next Elegoo adventure using the Centauri Carbon.

September 2022 I purchased my first resin printers / curing unit from a local sale. I wasn't familiar with Elegoo products then but oh boy. I think that mars 2 pro I put 10-15kg of resin through it and I ended up passing that whole set onto another new user for them to start a new chapter in 3d printing. I have the Mars 3 and Mercury plus wash / cure currently, I don't resin print as often as I'd like to anymore but when I do it never fails me. Below is my first resin print 🤟😎

Looking back on two years of printing, my special moment was my very first SLA 3D print on my Saturn 2 of 'the Rook'. The print wasn't perfect but the resolution and surface finish using default settings compared to my FDM printer was simply amazing. So here it is. A picture of my first ever print is attached. I've progressed from my first print to make numerous functional engineering parts with a resolution within +/- 0.057 mm in X, Y or Z that have more than paid for the cost of the printer. Gears, pumps, many fittings and fixtures, custom instrument cases, lab-wear, casting moulds, optics (yes lenses) and even a few objects-d-art. Aside from 'the Rook' I've never printed anyone elses 3D model. My last print was a replacement catch for a wheelchair for my mother-in-law who is reliant on her chair every day. An OEM part would have cost more than £180 and taken weeks for delivery. But my Elegoo Saturn 2 delivered. But my greatest pleasure from my Elegoo experience has been trying to help other folk overcome issues through this forum. I haven't always been successful but I figure that I've contributed to the community. I've added the following hashtags in the hope of being struck by lightening and maybe winning a prize: [Link] [Link]

I remember one of the first times I saw 3D printing used for something truly practical. Someone was printing a replacement lever part for their coffee machine, which had broken. At first I thought “there’s no way that’s going to fit”. But after a little post-processing, it snapped right into place like the original part. That moment really made me realize how 3D printing can be more than just a hobby, it can be extremely useful for fixing and improving (small) things around the house. Since then, I’ve been even more excited to dive deeper into the hobby. The Centauri Carbon looks amazing, and I’d love to take my 3D printing to the next level with something like that!

When I first started 3d printing, I had a knock over ■ ■ ■ ■ and honestly it gave me nothing but problems. Every print failed, the adhesion was terrible. Constant clogs and I hated it. Honestly, it put me off from printing for years. Then, I decided to try again and get a Neptune 4 pro. That's when my passion for 3d printing started again. I was able to not only print wirelessly, but it would work for me all the time. I hardly ever had a failed print and when I did, it caused by my grubby fingers touching the build plate. Now as I learn AutoCAD for my own hobby, I see the CC with an enclosure for less than half the cost of a bambu enclosed printer, I can't wait to get my hands on it. Elegoo reignited my passion for 3d printing and I'll never forget it

Not really about a project or a 3d print but I've already liked the company as they've got good customer service here. I'm a newbie in 3d printing and after much deliberation, I decided to go and get the neptune 4 pro a few months ago as my very first 3d printer. It was working fine for a month but suddenly went haywire so I contacted support as its still under warranty. The customer support was very helpful in troubleshooting whats wrong with the printer and managed to send out parts to our place even though we live in a very remote area(it took months for the parts to arrive lel). We had to pay an import fee though when the product got delivered but when I reached out to them about it, they refunded the import fee to me, which is nice. Printers been working nicely ever since. Will probably buy more of their products in the future and if they managed to allow shipping here in the PH, I'll probs buy the CC directly from their website but alas, they don't so I'll have to make do with the local suppliers. Good products and good customer service are just some things that makes our lives good, and elegoo has both

I bought my first printer, a Neptune 3 Plus (top) to print a "table" for my wife to build her puzzles, so we can move them around, rotate them as needed, or store them under the bed if needed. I choose Elegoo because the word around was that for the price range they don't need much tinkering to get good results, and man they were right. That was my #MyElegoodMoment. I was hooked, and bought the second printer, a Neptune 3 Pro (bottom). Since then I have printed gridfinity stuff for my hobby drawers, drawers for stuff (there is one in the picture), things for the bathroom, an awesome Mega Man sculpture for my son, and so many other things.

I recreated some automotive badges for a 1954 Dodge Custom Royal and they came out perfect! They are going to be used on a true classic show car, my work ;) pretty cool imo <3 (and made it all happen on my Neptune 3 Pro with Elegoo PETG and some ASA)

My story is short, I got loan to get my first 3D printer, first I was looking on cheap AliExpress printers but then I thought "It won't be first time when I got crap from there" so I didn't buy there, I searched more and found Elegoo, there was a good deal and I made my ming and choose Neptune 4 pro! From day 1 when I received my printer, I can only print small things, like keychains because no matter what I do my first layer is damaged and with bigger size print they end up failing. I have followed many suggestions, even from Elegoo support but no luck on fixing my printer. But I have little hope left to fix it. If I would have money, I would sell my Neptune 4 pro and bought Centauri Carbon instead but now I can only dream about that!

I heard about Elegoo a few years ago when I was at school and we started studying about microcontrollers, I started following a very nice gentleman and a pretty good teacher on Youtube, then I bought a starter kit from Elegoo. And I declare myself satisfied with the activity started at that moment, then after I advanced further I realized that I could recover enough components from electronics scrap boards. For school projects, the starter kit helped me quite a lot, I remember that I also had instructions, which was a bonus because they matched the components in the kit. I moved on, I don't think I had anything from that kit anymore, but I see that Elegoo has also left that period a bit behind, and is moving on, soI think that's how things are in the end. 🙂 You adapted. Elegoo, keep building! 👍

I've always been a fan of pop culture and thanks to my Neptune 3 Max I was able to complete my first amateur cosplay to wear at a Comic convention. I was already printing for a while but this was the first time I wanted to attempt something bigger. I'm not a small guy so I only did the helmet and the gun. It was amazing to feel like one of the other cosplayers and to have people ask to take pictures with me. Thank you Elegoo

My Elegood moment was when I realised that I could create a viable business to support my family, by selling prints to my local game shop and through a website The real “Elegood” moment was that first sale that confirmed that this is a true possibility, and everything I was doing was working! Thank you Elegoo for helping me become financially independent and take care of my wife, baby and five cats, you are angels. Taylor & Family

this story may have been too recent but it definitly inspired me to be a good engineer in the future. it's christmas 2024 and i look under the tree. "wow what a big present" so i opened it and saw an elegoo neptune 3 pro. I was shocked to see my dream come true. ever since i was a child, i wanted a 3d printer, now that i have one i was in glee. I bought some elegoo sky blue filament and tri colour filament and started printing. First i printed a spinner that i designed, then a backpack tag, and heaps of other stuff, though I still wonder how I still have 700g left of sky blue filament. Anyway here is the spinner:

When I first started in 2019 with UV resin printing. Buying my first Mars 1 from Amazon. This is when I was really able to do detailed things without having to go to a manufacturer. The second best thing is when I started FDM printing from Elegoo when suddenly 3D printing on the PEI bed with the Elegoo Neptune Max 3 was so much easier than any other brand.

When i started into the 3d printer world in 2020 during the pandemic I started with another brand with a filament printer and it was so difficult and I had so many issues and almost gave up, but I switch and bought an elegoo and everything worked out of the box and I then bought my first resin printer from elegoo and again right out of the box and I have been having so much fun and joy from this hobby every since.

My first experience with elegoo was only last year. I was using another brand and I wasn't happy with the support I was getting trying to get the bed fixed. I ended up selling it and bought a used neptune 4 max. It was in rough shape and after talking with support they suggested a couple of things and wow it now prints amazing. The support you provided me on a printer i bought used has made my 3dprint life so much better. Thank you elegoo and congratulations on 10 years, I can't wait to see what you have in store for the next 10.

I’ve been printing with Elegoo since 2019 or early 2020. Started off with the OG Mars, and moved up with the Mars & Saturn prints/curing stations as my business got bigger. Definitely due to upgrade resin printers later this year. Switched my FDM printers over to Elegoo a couple years ago when the Neptune 2 came out. Those are now retired and upgraded to Neptune 3 pros, which are being retired for the Centauri line printers later this year. The Centauri Carbon has been amazing and easily is the best performing printer on the rack. At this point the whole 3D side of my business is powered by Elegoo. Just waiting eagerly (and impatiently) for a multi-color system later this year. #MyElegoodMoment #ELEGOO10thAnniversary

While it may not be anything special, my Elegood Moment is this little print. While I had a resin printer a few years ago, this was my first FDM print on an Neptune 4 Pro. I knew very little about printing on an FDM printer, let alone a bed slinger. This little print took 4 tries, but I learned alot and I was hooked. 1000 hours later and it is still going strong and has me hooked. I can't wait to get an order in for the new Centauri. I am really looking forward to it!

10 years ago, I was trying to build a retractable system for a drone. I started it with aluminum and got frustrated. Told my wife that this is what 3d printers are for and quickly ordered a 3d printer. As time progressed I bought another, (Ender3) but was never happy with the results. When Elegoo came out with the Mars, I grabbed one and was amazed at the quality then building N Scale train layouts and used the Mars to print many of the buildings and terrain. I needed bigger and got a Saturn. Then a Saturn2. Then trashed my Ender3 FDM printers and got the Neptune4's. All these have been the greatest printers. Workhorse printers for my larger train layouts and making off road parts. Elegoo has the best customer support I have ever encountered. They have replaced parts for me that were out of warranty with no questions asked. I have recommended Elegoo to all my friends and started their 3d printing journeys. So, what did I do with the old Ender printers that Elegoo replaced? I used the Elegoo Arduino kits! Watch the video. [Link]

I have printed so much stuff from valentines gifts to office decorations , to tools. I’ve learned so much and now I see so many things out in the world that can be replaced by 3d printing. And because Elegoo has everything I went with the Mars 5 and resin printing has been so easy. I have to say Elegoo has been a big savings grace. Iv now gone and sold my 3 other brand printers so I've only got elegoo. Since this was my first printer, the Neptune 4 has gracefully accompanied me along the way. Not only has this printer brought my ideas to life, but I was also able to use it to help other people. My wife decided I needed a new hobby, and for Christmas 2018, she bought me an ■ ■ ■ ■. It was magical, until it wasn't. After about 4 years of printing, upgrading, doing little tinkering with the machine itself and I was stuck. I couldn't figure out how to get my 2nd z motor from twisting the gantry, couldn't figure out why the bltouch wasn't working, was looking at linear rails shocked at the cost, and could not, no matter how much I tried, get PETG to stick to the build plate. I was SOOO frustrated I started looking at a new printer. During this time I got my first real "Hey, I'll pay you to print this"... only problem? a 46 hour print on the ■ ■ ■ ■. I found the "unicorn", all the upgrades I was struggling with, built into a machine, for the cost of said upgrades: Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro. Printer arrived in pristine condition, dealt with a few hiccups because the printer was just sooooo fast but was super happy with the cool new printer. Best part? that 46 hour print from the ■ ■ ■ ■? 20 hours on the Neptune. First comission was super happy, and I've printed one for myself and gave a few away as gifts. People are always leaving my house with a smile on their face and some printed thing in their hand. Even better? since joining the Official Elegoo discord I've been able to not only improve my print quality but have better quality with faster speeds. The same print now? 12 hours!

I've been printing wargaming miniatures using a FDM printer. There's a lot of discussion online around this, and one filament seems to be all the rage: Sunlu Meta. Granted, the print quality and detail is great using this filament, but it's difficult to work with and it's extremely hard to avoid stringing (especially here in Scotland where I struggle to dry it below 24%RH, and it re-absorbs moisture like a sponge). After some extensive research I decided to give Elegoo's Rapid PLA+ a try, and... holy moly!! The results are astonishing. The quality and detail is slightly better than ■ ■ ■ ■'s Meta, but the key point is that there is virtually no stringing. The odd micro string now and then, but you have to actively look for those. And the best part? This with zero tuning, just using a generic rapid PLA profile in Orca. Day and night compared to the very careful calibration and tuning that filaments like Sunlu Meta require. I cannot express how thrilled I was with this discovery. It's been a game changer for me. Many of the minis I'm printing now are almost indistinguishable to resin prints at arms length, which is mind blowing. This is why I've decided to put my faith in Elegoo and get my hands on the Centauri Carbon as my next printer and see what I can accomplish with it.

My first ever printer was an ■ ■ ■ ■, but my first ever resin printer was a Saturn 2. Going into resin printing, my main reference was Uncle Jessy and it was a very new concept to me. Fortunately, the Saturn 2 had great instructions as did the Elegoo resin I purchased. Somehow, my first ever print (the Saturn Rook) on a guess ended up being a total success. The details were absolutely stunning and the experience pushed me to go further with 3D printing in general. From there, the Saturn 2 has shown its value time and time again, whether for making things for myself or friends and family. I continue to use it with my Mercury XS combo to this day. In short, my first ever resin printer, the Saturn 2 has made my life Elegood through exposing me to a whole new medium of 3d printing with great details and fairly straightforward instructions and operation.

Last year i preordered a Saturn 4 and while i had to wait 3 months for that device i could not resist and ordered a Neptune 4 plus. OMG, this was huge and needed much more space than i thought. So almost 2 years ago I bought a Neptune 3 max along with a Neptune 3 pro. I mainly used the 3 max and printed a couple of swords and chess sets, but eventually the printer broke somewhere and I let the printer collect dust for around a year. Finally this last winter I had some extra time on my hands so I decided to get to work and fix it. I put a lot of time and effort into the printer and it turns out there weren't any crazy problems, I just needed to replace one of the belts and tweak some other things. But the whole experience helped me learn a lot about 3d printing and was very gratifying. After I had fixed the printer I attempted to print a life size helmet of the character crosshair from bad batch (files from the amazing galactic armory) all at once, which ended up being a 70+ hour long print. I had never broken 24 hours with this printer before. After some trial and error with the slicer I finally was able to get the right settings and achieve this huge milestone and make an amazing print. I am really grateful for Elegoo giving me the chance to have this amazing experience along with so many others. I look forward to many more huge prints, including a taskmaster helmet I am printing right now, more swords, maybe a helldivers cosplay, and lots of more opportunities for growth. Thank you Elegoo! 🍻
